公式ドキュメント
Windows Biometric Framework から呼び出され、非同期の WinBioVerifyWithCallback 関数の結果を返します。クライアントアプリケーションはこの関数を実装する必要があります。
重要 Windows 8 以降では、PWINBIO_VERIFY_CALLBACK/WinBioVerifyWithCallback の組み合わせは使用しないことをお勧めします。代わりに、次のようにしてください:
- 操作の完了通知を受け取るために PWINBIO_ASYNC_COMPLETION_CALLBACK 関数を実装します。
- WinBioAsyncOpenSession 関数を呼び出します。CallbackRoutine パラメーターにはコールバックのアドレスを渡します。NotificationMethod パラメーターには WINBIO_ASYNC_NOTIFY_CALLBACK を渡します。そして非同期セッションハンドルを取得します。
- 非同期セッションハンドルを使用して WinBioVerify を呼び出します。操作が完了すると、Windows Biometric Framework は結果を格納した WINBIO_ASYNC_RESULT 構造体を割り当てて初期化し、その結果構造体へのポインターを渡してコールバックを呼び出します。
- 使用が終わったら、コールバックの実装内から WinBioFree を呼び出して WINBIO_ASYNC_RESULT 構造体を解放します。
解説(Remarks)
現在、Windows Biometric Framework は指紋リーダーのみをサポートしています。そのため、操作が失敗し、WINBIO_REJECT_DETAIL 定数で追加情報が返される場合、その値は次のいずれかになります:

- WINBIO_FP_TOO_LOW
- WINBIO_FP_TOO_LEFT
- WINBIO_FP_TOO_RIGHT
