戻り値
関数が成功すると、戻り値は 0 以外になります。
関数が失敗すると、戻り値は 0 になります。拡張エラー情報を取得するには、GetLastError 関数を呼び出します。

解説(Remarks)
ReserveAndAppendLog 関数によって返される LSN は、必ずしも次に使用される LSN とは限りません。返される LSN は次の LSN の推定値であり、fFlags パラメーターで指定されたフラグに応じて変化します。返される LSN は、ベース テールを移動する際に使用できます。この LSN は、この関数の次回の呼び出しによって無効になります。
ReserveAndAppendLog 関数が ERROR_LOG_FILE_FULL を返した場合、ログには空き領域がありません。これは次のいずれかの方法で解決できます。
- 不要な予約を解放します。
- コンテナーを再利用するために、ベース LSN またはログ アーカイブ テール、あるいはその両方を進めます。
- ログにコンテナーを追加します。
ReserveAndAppendLog 関数が有効な pOverlapped 構造体を指定して呼び出され、かつログ ハンドルが overlapped オプションで作成されている場合、この関数の呼び出しが ERROR_IO_PENDING エラー コードで失敗したときは、ppvReadContext パラメーターが指す変数に有効な読み取りコンテキストへのポインターが格納されます。
ログ レコードのコピーを完了するには、クライアントはまず GetOverlappedResult 関数、または同期用の Wait 関数のいずれかを使用して、overlapped I/O 操作の遅延完了と自身の実行を同期させる必要があります。詳細については、Synchronization and Overlapped Input and Output を参照してください。
